Co-Founder and President of the CCI Group of companies, Mr. Goerz has a proven track record as a successful entrepreneur. The group of companies that Mr. Goerz co-oversees include CCI Engineering, a recipient of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for 5 years running, that employs over 150 employees and has 6 offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Cochrane, Prince George, Quebec and Houston. This highly specialized service company has worked on several large high profile projects in Canada including Keystone Pipeline, Energy East Pipeline and the TMX Kinder Morgan Pipeline. CCI Rentals includes a wide variety of Rental equipment that supplies the Oil and Gas pipeline industry as well as the municipal infrastructure industry. CCI Ventures comprises the real estate holdings that includes several commercial buildings in Edmonton, Cochrane and Stony Plain, Alberta.

Mr. Goerz received his degree in Engineering from U of A in 1995. During the rapid growth of the CCI group of companies Mr. Goerz has managed the overall quality of the product and overseen the development of several engineers in the company, as well as the overall strategy of the company and several company transforming implementations. Mr. Goerz’s work commitment to his entrepreneurial pursuit is evident with the continuing education he has received including the Executive Management Leadership program at U of A and his 3 year participation of the Nancy MacKay CEO Group Forum that encompasses entrepreneurs from several different organizations that meet monthly to discuss business strategy, learning and issues.

DAVID DUPUIS

C.E.T., NCSO, C.O.O.

Co-Founder and COO of the CCI Group of companies, Mr. Dupuis has a proven track record as a successful entrepreneur. The group of companies that Mr. Dupuis co-oversees include CCI Engineering, a recipient of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for 5 years running, that employs over 150 employees and has 6 offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Cochrane, Prince George, Quebec and Houston. Mr. Dupuis is personally an owner and significant shareholder in several rental properties including a large commercial property development in New Brunswick. Mr. Dupuis’s keen business sense has allowed the group of companies to continue to achieve significant growth since 2004.

Mr. Dupuis received his Diploma in Land Survey in 1997 and quickly moved to Alberta to begin his career as an entrepreneur. During the rapid growth of the CCI group of companies Mr. Dupuis has managed several mergers and acquisitions, as well as the overall strategy of the company and several company transforming implementations. Mr. Dupuis’s commitment to his entrepreneurial pursuit is evident with the continuing education he has received including the Executive Management Leadership program at U of A and his 6 year participation of a CEO Group Forum that encompasses entrepreneurs from several different organizations that meet monthly to discuss business strategy, learning and issues.

TRAVIS McCARTNEY

General Manager

General Manager of CCI & Associates, Mr. McCartney has been involved in many industry firsts including one of the first pilot hole intersects completed in North America. Most recently Travis has provided construction assistance on many high profile projects such as Northern Courier pipeline, Grand Rapids pipeline, Leach express pipeline, Mountaineer Express pipeline and many others.

Mr. McCartney started working for one of the largest HDD contractors in 2001 and worked his way up through the ranks with a focus on pilot hole navigation before transitioning into project management with CCI in 2011. Travis was most recently involved in the engineering review and construction management of a world record 7200’ 42” HDD. Throughout the last 17 years Travis has developed a strong sense of devotion for growing the HDD industry by thinking outside the box. He has also made many contributions to the industry including sitting on the API HDD committee to set industry standards that will minimize environmental impact and ensure successful crossings. Travis is currently the general manager for CCI & Associates where he continues to implement learnings and work towards bettering the trenchless industry.

JUSTIN TAYLOR

VP Engineering

VP Engineering of CCI & Associates, Mr. Taylor has a proven track record in delivering highly specialized expert engineering and design services in the trenchless industry throughout North America, including several large high profile projects such as the Keystone / Keystone XL Pipelines, TMEP Kinder Morgan Pipeline, and the North West Redwater Partnership Sturgeon Refinery Pipeline Project.

Mr. Taylor received his degree in Engineering from U of A in 2007. During the rapid growth of CCI, which employs over 150 employees and has 6 offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Cochrane, Prince George, Quebec and Houston, Mr. Taylor has managed the overall quality of the engineering services of CCI, and has overseen the development of the CCI engineering team. Mr. Taylor’s work commitment to the provision of quality engineering services for CCI’s clients is evident with the continuing education he has received including the Business Leadership for Technical Professionals program at U of A School of Business, as well as his contributions to industry technical societies such as the North American Society of Trenchless Technology (NASTT).
